Dramatics Club
At Beacon High School, we believe the world is a stage, and we prepare our students to play their parts with confidence. Our Drama sessions are designed to be a “safe space” where students can step out of their comfort zones, explore their emotions, and find their unique voices.
Beyond the Script: While we teach the technicalities of acting, our primary focus is on developing essential life skills:
- Public Speaking: Overcoming stage fright to speak with clarity and poise.
- Collaboration: Working as an ensemble to bring a story to life.
- Empathy: Stepping into another character’s shoes to understand different perspectives.
- Creative Problem Solving: Thinking on their feet through improvisation.
