At Beacon, we are committed to ensuring all students lead active, healthy lives. Our comprehensive, age-appropriate sports program is designed to instill a lifelong love for physical activity, build fundamental skills, and promote overall well-being.
Foundational Movement & Skills
(Nursery to Standard II)
Our early years program, uniquely designed by our Principal, focuses on building the essential building blocks of physical literacy.
Focus Areas: Loco motor movement skills, gross motor patterns, and introducing the fundamental skills required for future team and individual sports.
Skill Development & Sport Introduction
(Standard III to VI)
Students progress to more structured physical education with the guidance of our specialized sports teachers.
Focus Areas: Developing general physical agility, sprinting, and endurance. Students are formally introduced to core sports like football and basketball, learning basic rules and techniques.
Advanced Fitness & Athletic Training
(Standard VII to X)
Our senior program focuses on strength, high-intensity training, and mastering sports.
Focus Areas: Partner exercises, core strengthening (crunches, abs), high-intensity workouts and squats. Students continue to develop advanced skills in football and basketball.
